Guest artist workshop: Louise Lins

My name is Louise Lins, and I am a Brazilian ballet teacher residing in Malmö, Sweden. I started dancing at six and became a professional dancer by twenty. With over fifteen years of teaching experience, I work with students of all ages and skill levels. My background also includes university studies and dance competitions in Brazil, and I prioritise lifelong learning. I am certified in Progressing Ballet Technique and have completed two curricula from the Cuban National Ballet School through ENBC Brazil. Currently, I teach at Malmö Balettskola, Rydbergs Dance Academy, and Evolve Balett och Dansförening, where I also serve as chairperson. I am furthering my education in Pedagogical and Social Work at Komvux Malmö to enhance my skills as a teacher and mentor in the dance community.
Louise will teach a ballet workshop with emphasis on body placement and musicality. Our goal is to cultivate an enhanced awareness of weight transference, dynamic movement, and the safe and effective practice of turnout.
Dress code: Hair up, no loose clothing. Ballet shoes or socks.
